The duo, consisting of bass clarinettist Fie Schouten and cellist Katharina Gross, dedicates itself to contemporary, international repertoire, in which both instrumentalists take pleasure in making the low frequencies sound, all possible sounds, melting or contrasting and inserting theatrical aspects.
Since their start as a duo in 2022 they performed in The Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Portugal and Turkey. Working as a duo, they invite other musicians to collaborate, so far percussionists Ruud Roelofsen, Agostinho Sequiera, pianist Ji-Youn Song and soprano Keren Motseri. On their tours they regularly work with young composers and they give masterclasses and workshops. Their international collaboration reflects their commitment to enriching the contemporary music scene through innovative performances.
